What is Pinterest good for?

Pinterest for business is good for any niche or industry you’re in. Whether you’re a coach, blogger, consultant, Etsy shop owner, etc, you can use Pinterest.

Links on Pinterest last so much longer than on any other platform. Unlike Instagram reels, pins can last months, sometimes years.

I’ve been able to grow my email list, my blog, and make sales thanks to Pinterest. If you’re thinking about giving up on it definitely don’t. If you’re just starting out keep going.

How do you make a good pin on Pinterest?

Pinterest is a visual platform. As a result, making a good Pinterest design is important. There are a few design rules that you need to follow to make a good pin.

The most important one is readability. People need to be able to read what’s on the pin. If they don’t know what it’s about they won’t click. Stay away from fonts that are too hard to read.

Another one is to stick to making vertical pins. Don’t use square graphics. Vertical pins get shared a lot more than square ones. Tailwind Create automatically creates vertical pins for you.

Lastly use bright images. Stay away from dark images/stock photos. In my experience, people respond better to bright images.

I could write more about this but I think those are the most important design rules you need to follow.
