Christmas Crafts to Sell

1) Christmas T-shirts

It may not seem like it but making your own t-shirts is relatively easy. I make my own T-shirts all the time. People will want to buy t-shirts at Christmas time.

They especially love Christmas t-shirts. You don’t even need a Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine to make them.

All you need is a heat press, t-shirt blanks, and screen print transfers. Companies like Supacolor make them for you. All you do is send them your designs.

Then they turn them into screen print transfers. There are tons of tutorials online to help you figure out the pressing process.

2) Christmas Round Wood Signs

Christmas Round wood signs are very popular. Another name for them is wood door hangers. People usually put these wood signs on their front doors.

I love making round wood signs. I make them for personal use all the time. They aren’t as hard to make as it seems. All you need is:

  • Round wood blank
  • Paint or stain for the wood
  • Wired-edge ribbon
  • Vinyl or paint for the quote or phrase you’ll put on it

You can even make custom ones if you prefer. I have a tutorial on my other blog that tells you how to make a round wood sign.

3) Hot Cocoa Bombs

I did this last year to make some extra money. Hot cocoa bombs are one of the cheapest and easiest Christmas crafts to sell.

You don’t need a lot of materials. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok that show you how to make them.

Here’s a list of materials you’ll need:

  • Silicon molds
  • Chocolate bars
  • Hot Cocoa Bomb Tags
  • Hot Cocoa mix
  • Box or clear plastic bags to put them in

You can make white chocolate versions too. You can even sell them to family and friends. People will buy them because not everyone can make them. They can even be hard to find in stores.

4) Christmas Starbucks Cups

Christmas Starbucks cups are very popular. They make great white elephant gifts, stocking stuffers, etc. You don’t need a lot of materials either. All you need is the following:

  • Venti Starbucks Cup
  • Permanent Vinyl
  • SVG file
  • Rubbing alcohol

5) Custom Christmas Ornaments

I absolutely love making my own Christmas ornaments. There are different styles of ornaments you can make.

You can make custom acrylic ornaments or typical round ones. Ornaments are such a big hit at Christmas because they can reflect someone’s personality.

People love having their names on them or funny quotes. They can use them to reflect their faith or beliefs.

Christmas ornaments can be very personal. People always love finding new and unique ornaments.

All you need to make them is:

  • ornaments
  • Permanent Vinyl
  • Christmas ornament SVG design

6) Christmas Coffee Mugs

The best part about selling Christmas coffee mugs is that you can get blank ones from the dollar store.

You can even fill them with candy and sell them to family and friends. This is something you can make without a Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine.

You can get a sublimation printer and make them that way. What I love about sublimation is that you can make dishwasher-safe mugs.

No need to bake in the oven to cure. Nor do you need to use modge podge.

Design Bundles has tons of Christmas sublimation designs.

7) Christmas Libby Glass Cans

Custom Libby glass cans are a trend I saw popping up over the summer on Instagram. In case you don’t know what, they are, it’s shaped like a pop can.

But it’s made of glass. You can put bamboo wood tops on them and use a straw.

With this Christmas craft, you just need the glass can, SVG design, Cricut machine, and permanent vinyl. Go on Instagram or TikTok to check out other Libby glass can sellers.

8) Handmade Christmas Wreaths

This is a Christmas craft you can charge premium prices for. This means that you don’t need to sell a lot to make good money.

A lot of people, myself included, use Christmas wreaths. If you want to start selling them do research first.

Go on Etsy to see what’s currently being sold on the market. Find out what Etsy sellers are charging for theirs. Read my blog post where I show you how to find the best-selling Etsy items.

9) Handmade Christmas Garlands

Nowadays Christmas garlands aren’t just made of faux pine tree vines. A new trend that I’ve seen is Christmas garlands made of 3D paper cutouts. Like a 3d paper cut out of Christmas Mickey.  These cut-outs do sell well on Etsy too.

With 3D paper cutouts, all you need is your Cricut machine and cardstock.

10) Printable Christmas Gift Tags

Christmas gift tags are popular. There are two ways to sell them. You can sell the digital file, which is what I do. Or you can print them out and ship them to people.

I love Christmas gift tags because they give you so much freedom to be creative. You can make old-fashioned gift tags and sell those too.

I use Canva to make mine.

11) Christmas Gift Baskets

Gift baskets are very popular at Christmas time. What I love about them is that you can make it truly unique. You don’t even have to spend a lot. You can make a movie gift basket, candy basket, self-care basket, etc. You can even make one from just dollar-store items. Go on Etsy to see what kinds are being sold.

12)Handmade Advent Calendars

Advent calendars are a very popular Christmas item. There are a few you can make. You can make advent calendars. Or you can make Christmas countdown calendars. Some people think they’re the same. They aren’t exactly.

Advent calendars are used by Christians to countdown to the birth of Jesus.

13) Sugar scrubs, and Lotion bars

Both are very popular. Nowadays women prefer organic products free of chemicals. It’s easier nowadays to learn how to make your own than it used to be. But if you’re going to sell them on Etsy there is something you need to know.

You have to disclose exactly what you put in your scrub or lotion bars. You have to put it on the label according to the law. Definitely do your research to see what you need to do legally in order to sell them.

You can easily get the materials you need on Amazon.

14) Printable Christmas Cards

There are a couple of ways you can do this. You can make them and then print them out for customers. Or you can sell digital versions of them. Customers would print them out themselves. Canva makes it easy to make them too. You can offer Christmas cards that are different than in stores.

15) Cookies

If you’re good at baking then you can sell cookies. You can sell Christmas cutout cookies, gingerbread cookies, etc. If you do a quick Pinterest search, you’ll see that there are all kinds you can make. You can even take custom orders. The best part is that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get started.
